Ariane Noelle Patterson, a student at Gardner Webb University, died on her birthday, January 17th. Patterson, a Religious Studies major at Gardner-Webb, was in her ‘Life and Letters of Paul’ class and had tweeted “Thank you God for another year of life” that morning. A Kingdom Letter was submitted to share her story and to give listeners a chance to support Patterson’s Memorial:

The 2012 GRAMMY Nominees album will be released digitally and in stores January 24, 2012. It seems that the odds are in an actor’s favor for receiving an Academy Award nomination and eventually picking up the Oscar when they are playing a real life character. This year sees Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, and Kenneth Brannaugh all receiving nominations for portraying real life characters.
